Youth Play: Kuumba Youth Actors in the Hope & Dream of the Slave supported by local college students teaching about the origins of Memorial Day.
Live musical performances from gospel, Island and acoustic guitar to rhythm & blues including special guest hip hop artist Kiing Artist blessing the mic.
A day of live musicians, spoken word, rebranding the park with positive energy and creative healing and building, live djay, freestyle dancing and line dance group showcasing, style, talent and community unity in support of SD Black Art & Culture District.

Closing out the 34th Annual Kuumba Fest Celebration at the beautiful Elementary Institute of Science in Emerald Hills. All are invited to come out and experience Edu-tainment, education about San Diego’s history with the Geri Curl and the entertainment of a hilarious cast sharing history and heritage.
Come view the film and meet some of the the artist and producers for questions and answers. There will be product and merchandise available.
