KUUMBA FEST 2026 IS COMING. Using our creativity for honoring our ancestors, empowering our youth, celebrating our families and showcasing our culture, heritage and potential for building our own communities.
34th Annual Kuumba Fest Celebration
May 30th, 2026 11am A day of honoring the ancestors, respecting the elders, loving the children and inviting all for “Creative Nation Building” with Positive Images, educational Challenges, & collective work and responsibility in Creative Spiritual Rejuvenation.
Rebranding our neighborhoods with art and culture, youth plays, live music, song and dancing, good food, wellbeing resources, entrepreneurs and vendors for shopping.

Vendor opportunities available for appropriate vendors per event.
May 30th, 34th Annual Kuumba Fest Positive Images, Challenges & Spiritual Rejuvenation : live music, song, dance, theatre, workshops, resources and vendors
June 28th Celebrating the oldies music in the park information and support 4pm to 6pm
July 25th, The Cook Out Freedom Day No Stress Veteran family food music and fun. 11am to 3pm
August 29th FAT Extravaganza (Fashion Art Talent) Fusion of designers, models and entertainers. 11am to 3pm
September 26th Annual BFED Black Family Empowerment Day of resources, music, family fun and empowerment, honoring Black culture and accomplishments elders, music finale concert 1pm to 5pm
Set up time for eligible vendors is two hours before the event. Each vendor must check in with Coordinator for designated space. [ALL VENDORS MUST BE SELF SUFFICIENT WITH TABLE, CHAIRS, COVERING AND SUITABLE POP UPS]

ELIGIBLE FOOD VENDORS ($50 Registration fee to participate)
Please Note: Updated Selling Permits required for all vendors selling goods & Food handler cards are required for all food vendors.
